As the weather has turned and we have felt some cooler 'sweater' weather, we begin to morph into a different style of venue. We see cosy blankets around the fire pit, rich colours and hearty food. It's one of the most beautiful times to get married and we have seen a real increase in weddings during this season.
Our wonderful real couple, Rosie and Toby, truly pulled out all the stops for this one and we LOVED it!
Dashing out in between the showers, made it all the more fun!
With expectations of the weather being autumnal, there's no disappointment if we see some rain or mist as it has already been planned for, even hoped for, to get those one-off images to rival any other Instagram-worthy event. The ceremony can be even more impactful than in the summer, drenched in fairy lights with a warm glow surrounding you and your loved ones. Always talk to your photographer about how they make the most of the lower light levels and ask to see some other weddings they have shot around the same time yours is booked. Here, Nicki Shea Photography worked closely with Rosie and Toby to make sure they got the images they had hoped for. As you can see, they did not disappoint...
The newlyweds, encapsulated in lights.
Whether you chose long tables or round tables, you can still create a really inviting dining space. Here our couple had alternating orange and green napkins, woven boho style place mats as well as coloured glassware to really tie their theme into the place settings, from Wren Ark Tableware and Decor.
Beautiful warm coloured flowers, highlighted perfectly by lighter petals.
There was no shortage of flowers at this wedding, with a dramatic living aisle, stunning bouquets, table decor and floor displays. All incredibly put together by Thatch and Roses.
Squad goals!
The bridesmaids looked fabulous in different coloured dresses, in varying styles too giving them their own identity as well as presenting a united front of support for Rosie on her big day. We love the fun captured in these pictures too.
Moody skies and smoke bombs, can it get any better?
These coloured themed smoke bombs were from Enola Gaye Smoke Grenades.
The new 'Mr and Mrs' then danced the night away with their friends and family, with our signature cocktails made and served in our bespoke mobile bar 'The Fat Hen'!
